Treatments with Hyaluronic Acid, with Innovative Pain free Pix’L ® Needles
Static wrinkles, deep and long standing furrows and a lack of volume in the face can be treated very effectively with temporary hyaluronic acid based fillers. Permanent fillers have not been successful in the experience of plastic surgeons over the years. They caused lumps in the skin (granulomas), with disastrous results and partially disfigured faces. Your safety and well being is absolutely important to me, and that is why I only use temporary hyaluronic acid based fillers.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of human cartilage and skin. It has the ability to store the surrounding fluid, contributing to the harmonious padding of the tissue. Over the course of life, the hyaluronic acid content in tissue increases. By introducing networked hyaluronic acid, wrinkles can be specifically treated and their appearance smoothed. Nowadays a variety of hyaluronic acid containers are available. They differ in molecular size, viscosity and networking. It is therefore possible to use different substance for different purposes. It stands to reason, therefore, that we use a finer networked gel for contouring or lip plumping, as when we fill larger volume loss in the cheeks and nasolabial folds.
In general, the correction of volume loss due to the ageing process has moved to the centre of wrinkle treatment. Here, stable and sustainably networked molecule-sized gels are available. In our practice we tend to use Restylane ® gels from the company Q-Med ®. These have been tested for years in large studies and have been safely used over 11 million times. In addition to your well being and beauty, the safety of the products we use is very important to us.
For skin rejuvenation on the other hand, we prefer non-networked fluid gel to achieve a firming effect on larger areas of skin. The skin appears delicate, rosy, with small pores and no wrinkles. The duration of the treatment is dependent on the networking, molecule size and depth of injection of the gel. Normally between 6-24 months. In most cases we use the innovative blunt Pix'L ® needle to inject the gel. The process is not painful and the blood cells will not be damaged. The risk of bruising after the treatment is therefore minimal.
As you can see, our plastic surgeons offer a variety of effective substances and methods for you to gently cope with your wrinkles. I am happy to discuss which of these options make sense for you in a private consultation.
